In this latest poll voters in Wales want control over immigration. Immigration was a big part of the campaigns run by the various Leave camps, and polling throughout the EU Referendum campaign showed that immigration was one of the biggest concerns for voters all over the country.

Successive UK governments have shown us that it’s impossible to control the quantity and quality of immigration, whilst being a member of the EU. Further, the free movement of people is one of the EU’s core principals and membership of the Single Market is dependent on accepting unlimited movement of EU citizens. Therefore, it’s clear that voters prefer full control over immigration over membership of the Single Market. However, we, like every nation in the world will have access to the Single Market.

I am the only MEP in Wales who is working for full control over immigration and I will do everything in my power to grant Welsh voters their wishes.
